Queenie has been a standout from the start.
Her dam is a more compact size Highland who always raises the best calves. Some notables have been Bluestones Gretel, Bluestones Apple Cobbler, and Bluestones Frosty (full sibling to Queenie). She has a terrific udder, gorgeous coat, and black muzzle ring (bus dubh). Her sire and namesake, Quintessential, is a dark brindle with white frosting. Queenie is the last natural heifer we will get from him as he had to be put down last year due to a breeding injury. She will carry the ability to produce lovely frosted calves- it is quite heavy in her background!
Queenie is docile and started on the halter. She is quiet and gentle, and will undoubtably be a favorite in someone’s herd.
