Description: Firefly is a really neat red heifer with a lot of potential to have frosting, like her mother and grandmother. It looks to be coming in really neat! We still own her maternal grand-dam, Summit Ranch Abby. She is a daughter of Landelly’s Cody, a powerful frosted bull.
Firefly’s dam is one of my kid’s show heifers, and went all the way to the National Stock Show in Denver as a yearling. She has excellent feet and terrific udder as expected from the lines that she is out of. This is a really special cow family to our ranch and we are excited to offer this one.
Disposition/Halter Status: This is a spring calf out on our big Northern pasture, so she will be halter trained when she comes home at weaning in the fall.
